My site concerns people of one of the EDMUNDS families who were first recorded on the  Isle of Wight in the mid 17th century, and also the MORETON family who were located  mainly in and around Wimborne,Dorset, but were to be found at Southampton,Bishops  Waltham,Belgravia,Chelsea, Battersea and Islington. Other than those bearing the  Edmunds or Moreton name I have also to be grateful to the following who contributed  to my existence: Sarah WOODS,Sarah PERRY, Jane DYER, Bertha CALLAWAY, Emma BARTLETT,  Jane MORGON, Sarah DOEL,Ann BUGDEN, Ellen BREWER and Eunice WHITE.  I hope they will  smile kindly from above at my efforts to bring them back.
